Do you want to get involved in an artistic initiative with a community focus? La Villette offers a rich, varied and multidisciplinary programme. Whether you are an individual, a foundation, a small business or a large company, help support this innovative cultural project.
Making culture accessible to all and encouraging artistic experimentation have always been two of La Villette’s central goals.
La Villette is open to its neighbourhood and the city, and seeks to attract a wide range of audiences. It places special importance on all forms of performing arts and creation: circus, film, dance, workshops, theatre and exhibitions.
In addition, La Villette plays an important role with respect to disadvantaged audiences. It organises many educational and outreach activities for school students, social centres, back-to-work organisations, community groups and other structures.
Foundations, companies and SMEs
Companies who become patrons or sponsors at La Villette are supporting the community. In addition to uniting staff members, they are targeting a receptive audience.
Naturally, joining forces with La Villette has many benefits in terms of image, visibility, public relations and taxation. However, it is also an opportunity to take part in a mutually enriching experience where both parties actively work together to successfully complete ambitious projects.
Activities at La Villette can be supported under two separate fiscal regimes. Each regime is based on a very different approach, and creates generous tax deductions for companies.
Under the Loi du 1er août 2003 (French Law of 1 August 2013), 60% of all aid is tax deductible if this aid is in the general interest. La Villette is an eligible recipient under this law. The law covers all forms of aid: monetary contributions, goods, services and skills. Benefits received in return must not exceed 25% of the aid provided.
For example: A company donates €5,000.00. The company can deduct 60% of this sum from its taxes. The final cost to the company is therefore €2,000.00.
The aid can be deducted from the company’s operating costs, as long as its provision was in the company’s direct interest. The law covers all forms of aid: monetary contributions, goods, services and skills.
For example: A company donates €5,000.00. The company can deduct 33% of this sum from its taxable results. The final cost to the company is therefore €3,350.00.
