Transport

South Side – Porte de Pantin

  • Metro line 5 : Porte de Pantin or Ourcq stations

North Side – Porte de la Villette

Traffic Update: Due to the cycling race, tram line 3b will be closed in both directions from Porte de la Villette to Robert Debré on August 3rd from 1 PM to 5 PM and on August 4th from 2 PM to 7 PM.

  • Metro line 7 : Porte de la Villette station
  • RER E : Rosa Parks or Pantin stations
  • Tramway line 3b : Porte de la Villette or Ella Fitzgerald stops
  • Bus 139, 150, 152, 249 : Porte de la Villette stop
  • Bicycle parking : Écluse

Starting at 10:30 p.m., additional buses will stop at the Porte de Pantin Noctilien night bus stop headed for Gare de l’Est and Châtelet.

Please note that passenger traffic will be heavy on metro lines 7 and 5, as well as the tramway. We encourage you to use the RER E.

Bike Parking – Paris 2024

In partnership with Paris 2024, La Villette – Nations Park is setting up 1,000 supervised bike parking spots around the Park. Consult the map to see the 5 locations.
Please note that during the Olympic Games, bicycles, scooters and other forms of soft mobility are prohibited in the park.

All forms of sustainable mobility are accepted and provided for free in these parking facilities.

Please note that electric bike batteries will not be allowed in the premises and cannot be stored by our staff.

How to Move Around the Park?

Cycling is prohibited in the Park from 9 am until 2 am. During these hours, please use the designated bypass cycling lanes indicated by the City of Paris.

Two footbridges and two floating bridges are in place across the park to facilitate crossing the Canal de l’Ourcq.

From July 26 to August 11, the following schedules and directions are in place to manage very high public attendance:

  • West and East footbridges: all day from the South bank to the North bank
  • West and East floating bridges: from 9 am to 10 pm, from the North bank to the South bank only
  • West and East floating bridges: from 10 pm to 9 am, from the South bank to the North bank only
  • The floating bridges allow crossing the canal in both directions for persons with reduced mobility (PRM).

How to Get a Ticket? What Are the Opening Hours?

La Villette – Nations Park is open everyday from 10:00 a.m. until midnight.

Each sports organization, including the national Olympic committees, has its own programs and pricing. You can find the details for each project here.

Safe Zone

Sexist and discriminatory behaviors and sexual violence are not tolerated and are condemned by law. La Villette – Nations Park has therefore set up a safe zone to listen to and support the public.

If you are a victim or witness, please approach the safe zone.

Specialists will be present every day from 6 pm to 1 am.

Hotlines are also available for victims and their families: 3919* and 0 800 05 95 95**

*National hotline for women victims of violence, their families, and concerned professionals. Anonymous and toll-free, available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Accessible to non-French speakers.

**Free, confidential, and anonymous hotline for victims of rape and sexual assault, open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 7 pm. Accessible to English, Spanish, and Italian speakers.
