20 French architecture schools have mobilized and committed to designing and building 20 life-sized pavilions right in the heart of Parc de la Villette before and during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

This architecture exhibition is supported by Bernard Tschumi, the renowned franco-swiss architect who designed the park and its famous Folies.

20 projects envisioned by each of the 20 national schools of architecture in collaboration with 20 sports federations will be transformed into 20 pavilions built on the triangle’s meadow. These ephemeral structures (intended to be installed permanently on the territory or recycled) are designed by student architects, built on-site, and open to the public with guided tours from June 14th to July 7th. They will later become the pavilions of 20 sports federations on the Club France site during the Olympic Games and again open to the public during the Paralympic Games, from August 28th to September 3rd.

As an exceptional meeting point between architecture and sports, this exhibition, intended for enthusiasts as well as families and curious visitors of Parc de la Villette, is a highlight of the Cultural Olympiad.

This ambitious project is supported and funded by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with the Public Establishment of Parc and Grande Halle de la Villette (EPPGHV), the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee (COJO), and implemented by the 20 National Schools of Architecture and Landscape (ENSAP) under the coordination of the Grand Ateliers Innovation Architecture.
