The world’s one and only shadow circus theater is Teatro Gioco Vita ! The poetic Circoluna whisks us away into a colorful fantasy adventure with its impertinent characters Lucette, Monsieur Loyal, and Achille, the shadow tamer. The show was written with little kids in mind.

The show

Circoluna is a unique concept in its genre of circus-theater. It’s all about shadow play, light play, and magic. The three main characters are the flesh and bone presences in this fun, poetic, and immaterial dialog. Suspense, circus acts, and sweet irony populate this little fantasy world from start to finish.
Teatro Gioco Vita (gioco in Italian means game and vita means life) is a shadow theater that is both told and danced. The universe is dreamlike, poetic, sweet and sour.

Piloted by francophile Fabrizio Montecchi who lives and works in Piacenza, Italy, the troupe also deserves credit for a very lovely adaptation that has brought to life Du Ciel des Ours.
