Pre-manufacturing workshop from 10am to 12pm and 1pm to 4pm
construction workshops from 4pm to 8pm

A visual artist who plays with shapes, volumes and fabrics, Olivier Grossetête invites us to participate in the construction of an ephemeral town made of cardboard. A unique humane and artistic experience, this project offers us to build a utopian site together at La Villette. → 9 years or older → as part of the Paris l'Été festival

INTERACTIVE LARGE CARDBOARD CONSTRUCTIONS

Following his travels, Olivier Grossetête imagined huge cardboard structures that would reach up to 25m and weigh over a ton. Those site specific constructions give the audience an opportunity to partake in a new artistic and humane experience: coming together to build a utopian and ephemeral architecture without any cranes or machines.

You’re welcome to take part in the construction of this ephemeral town or join one of the workshops! Whether you choose to come by yourself, with a group or family, there will always be something to do on this utopian site.
