An exciting moment in our programming, Villette en Cirques (Circuses at La Villette) will perform three months of shows for family enjoyment. From the Cnac to the Nouveau Cirque du Vietnam by way of Kurt Demey’s magic show, there is something for everyone and for every age group.

    Zampanos – The small, limping circle of my imaginary world

    There is a clown in each and every one of us! Here, beneath the world’s tiniest tent, Le Petit Cercle boiteux de mon imaginaire (the small, limping circle of my imaginary world) takes us on a lovely, magical, jalopy-car ride. Let the Zampanos company’s old-fashioned marionettes awaken the awe-struck child within you.

    Aïtal Circus – For Better or Worse

    A veritable Circassian road movie! And it’s called “for better or worse”, in French, Pour le meilleur et pour le pire. It’s Kati and Victor from the Aïtal Circus. They’re going to whisk us off to their nomadic life on the dizzying heights where danger gives us goose bumps and sends shivers down our spines!

    Cnac 2016

    The national school of circus arts asked musician clown Alain Reynaud to direct this 27th class graduation show. Helping him out with the stage direction is Heinzi Lorenzen.

    Cirque Bang Bang and Zombie Zombie

    From 26 February to 6 March 2016

    In Search of Lost Time! Progressive background music by the trio Zombie Zombie plays as the Bang Bang circus takes centre stage, juggling and planning its new creation, Slow Futur. Between immobility and movement, the conveyor belt leads to dance.

    Nacho Flores

    From 12 to 13 April 2016

    Impossible clownish balancing acts. After ten years of walking the tight wire, Nacho Flores is now fully focused on a brand new technique: balancing on wooden cubes. After three years of intensive research, the tesseract now aligns absurdity with acrobatics.

    Iéto – L’instinct du déséquilibre

    From 12 to 13 April 2016

    It’s a matter of life or death! The Iéto company plays with fire, or rather with heights in this brand new show, L’Instinct du déséquilibre (the instinct of unbalance). Somewhere on a nearly sunken island, the slightest movement could send everything topsy-turvy.
