Snow White is a great romantic contemporary ballet, based on the Grimm brothers’ version of the fairytale. This lush, full-length story by French choreographer, Angelin Preljocaj, features massive sets, the magnificent excess of Gustav Mahler's symphonies with costumes by legendary Haute Couture designer Jean Paul Gaultier.

THE SHOW

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who in this land is the fairest of all? Angelin Preljocaj conjures imagery from the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale of 1812 – set around the innocence of a character with ‘skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony’ pitted against the envy, deceit and obsession of her stepmother Queen – a story that has since inspired countless pop-culture interpretations for film, television, music, and dance.

Angelin Preljocaj’s contemporary retelling of Snow White has been hailed by audiences and critics for its entrancing choreography and stunning beauty.
